Fudan International School is open to non-Chinese nationals

The school is open to non-Chinese nationals, and follows a U.S.-based curriculum for grades 1-8, while students in Grades 9-10 are prepared for future Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) studies. Students in Grades 11-12 then may follow FDIS Honors Courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, or the IB Diploma Program (IBDP). Fudan is also PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP exam authorized.

School counselors are available to students from Grade 9 to discuss the future paths they wish to follow, with many selecting subjects for their final years that will be suitable for the American college of their choosing.

As this school has a strong focus on cultural exposure, charity work plays a big part in the school’s extracurricular activities. The experience allows students to learn about the world around them, while developing their ability to express compassion and be an active part of a team.

Fudan also places a lot of focus on sports as a way to keep the minds and bodies of its student’s healthy, and has an extensive sports program. As a member of the Shanghai Schools Sports Association & The Big 12 Sports Conference, students have the opportunity to compete against their peers, and have fun while doing so!
